TDC73 Make a photo that emphasizes the color yellow.

These are old Nancy Drew books that belonged to my mom when she was little. I actually have some first edition Nancy Drew books that belonged to my grandma, but they are actually blue not yellow!

TDC76 Some trees express enormous soul. Find and photograph that special tree.

This is the house I grew up in. I had this great idea yesterday to google earth my old house and show my favorite climbing tree from my childhood. I spent almost every afternoon climbing up and down the tree. I loved being up so high and looking down on the world below. I had this great idea to show this amazing tree that had so much soul in my memory. I google earth’d it only to find out that the new owners cut down my favorite tree. All of the nostalgia assicated with this tree came rushing back and this daily create has turned sour. It was a great tree and I’ll always remember our many days shared together.

This is my cat, Beau, in my favorite seat with my favorite quilt next to my favorite desk, yawning…close to a self portrait!
