I have to admit, watching the film “Miss Representation” as a man, was pretty tough stuff. I did like the overall message about self-empowerment and everything, however, it’s tough for me to watch something like thing when 98% of the woman i see are the major users of the tabloid, magazine garbage,who love it, and keep feeding into it.
It’s tough for me to honestly and fully express my feelings about this while I’m typing on a computer…
After i watched this i couldn’t help but think of a bit I saw comedian Dave Chappelle do. He talks about what magazine do to women. The link is below, i highly recommend everyone watch it, it’s only 17 seconds.
