The Movie Trailer Mashup assignment cracked me up as I was working on it. It was great how many serious movies you could make funny, and vice versa. After playing around with a few different movies, I decided to mash up a trailer from “The Lincoln Lawyer” and “Clueless,” which are completely opposite movies. “The Lincoln Lawyer” is dramatic and extremely intense. Its got a great story, and it’s one of my favorites. However, when paired with the audio of the “Clueless” trailer, it makes Matthew McConaughey and the rest of the actors in “The Lincoln Lawyer” seem like a bunch of girly wimps talking about shoes and what-not.

Basically what I did to complete this assignment was find both of the trailers on YouTube, downloaded them to my computer (using YTD YouTube Downloader and Converter), and opened them in VideoPad Video Editor. Within the editor, it was as easy as cropping the trailers to be the same exact length, then moving around the audio to “Clueless” to properly fit the scenes in “The Lincoln Lawyer.” Even watching it for about the twentieth time still makes me giggle at a few parts. Here we go!
