I fell out of bed.  It felt something like this:

This rarely happens, I actually can’t think of the last time that it did happen.  It doesn’t usually happen to people above the age of 5, but it happened.  A little rolling, a very, very, brief period of free falling, and then a thud.  Not actually that bad, but it did wake me up.  Good thing there wasn’t anything on the floor that would have made that a bad fall..

Today’s essence is simple. It was the day I fell out of bed, and I’m glad I’m alive.
