Not wanting to miss out on the remix fun from last week, I took a little time today and remixed Camp MacGuffin’s Week 10 update into some breakfast.
I trolled through the DS106 Remix Generator and found a lot of the assignments fascinating. The notion here is that DS106ers can submit a Daily Create and now can add remix assignments. These then combine into the DS106 Remix Generator. Terrific stuff for creation and breaking people out of their static mindsets and into remixing creatively to form a fully new idea or concept. I also didn’t get time write a letter home summing up the week. I’m not totally sure what good it would do considering I spent most of it working outside the class environment.
For this video I sampled the Week 10 update taking out a segment about breakfast and gathering some food out by infamous Shed #4 and add some sample from other YouTube clips.
The videos were downloaded and, painstakingly, sampled in iMovie and combined into a fun breakfast report from Alan and Martha.
