The gates are closed over at Camp Magic Macguffin after the summer class of ds106 ended. After publishing their stories explaining what really happened at camp, UMW students have written their last letters home (check them out for advice to future students).

What’s next? We have two sections of ds106 running as online course at UMW starting August 27, 2012. If you are interested in being part of the #4life crowd, see our guide How to Succeed as an Open Online Participant for information how you can get set up and start right away, including information on setting up your blog space and how to create an account on this site.

One thing you can do anytime of the year is take on the challenges of the Daily Create. For a sense of the kinds of things people do in this class, explore the Assignment Bank or see the best and inspired work nominated by peers.

Stay tuned to this space for more announcements.
