I’m really a very unskilled photographer/artist when it comes down to it. Nothing has showcased that lack of talent more than this class, so when I saw that I had to make a “best of” set, I was less than thrilled.

But I have to do this assignment anyway, so here they are: the best of my assignments so far. Both of them are from the Daily Create assignments, and one of them is not a photograph. I’ll bet you can’t tell which one!

I picked the cyclocopter because it was fun to create and I had fun trying to draw something on Canvas Paint since I’d not had a chance/reason to use that program yet on my computer. The second image I chose was for the prompt to take a picture of something brand new, and it had just rained so the slick ground was “new.” I put it in this album because it was the first one for which I used the tips from TEN: Ten Ways to Improve Your Craft. None of Them Involve Buying Gear, so there was more work put into taking and editing the picture. There will be more as we go, but for now these were the only two I wanted to put in here.
