I never even heard of Foley until we got this assignment. I never knew that other people actually made noise in movies I thought it was the actors all along. Boy was I wrong! After watching several videos (What is Foley Sunds, A Prairie Home Campaion, and Fred Newmen ) like a thousand times I thought I was ready to give it a try. So first thing was first I got the video onto MPEG StreamClip and then I trimmed the video down to what I needed. I took all the notes even down to when he moved in the cage so I knew what sounds I had to make. I went around my house and tried to find  exactly what I needed to make the sounds… then I realized my house has nothing to help me so I had to just use what I had. So when he puts the pan down I put down this metal bowl I had. Then when the dog bites his leg I bite a folded up table cloth and growl like a doggy The end result came out like this:

Oh and I recorded everything on my phone and had my brother to start and stop it so it was exactly 30 seconds no more no less.
