Hello! My name is Mia and I’m a Senior Math Major, as well as in the Elementary Education Program here at Mary Washington. I am from East Hampton, NY which is on the end of Long Island. I love working with children, traveling, and just hanging out with my friends and family. I am really looking forward to this class and all of the different technologies we will be working with!

Here is a picture of me and my Grampa. Sadly, he passed away on January 5th. He was a man who really loved to listen, and only spoke when he really had something important to say. Not only had he been in remission from Leukemia for 20 years, he had also beaten several types of cancers after that. He is probably the strongest man I’ve ever known, and he has definitely made a huge impact on how I look at the world.

This is one of my favorite songs. I went to their concert at 5 am (for the Pepsi Summer Solstice at the Montauk Lighthouse) and heard them perform it live with Katie Sky present for the first time ever!
