Dream Garage!!!!!!

So, I’ve been working on my mashup. It’s not a mind blowing piece of art, and there was a few little things I was not able to figure out in Photshop, but the deadline is approaching, so figured i ought quit bashing my head on the keyboard and go ahead and post it. Here it it:

I got my pics from here, here, and the background garage picture I found on a google search, but I cannot for the life of me find the link. ( So whoever this garage photo belongs to, I give you full credit!!!) I then took each of these pictures into photoshop and cut out the piece that I wanted to use. Like the air compressor, the car of course, the toolbox etc. Then, I created different layers for each piece, and stacked them all up on top the base garage picture. It took a while to get everything lines up, and it’s still not perfect. I wanted to “rotate” the car and the toolbox, so that they appeared to sit “properly”; but I STILL cannot figure our how to do that.

I’ve done similar things when making maps, like created different layer for a neat-line, a legend, a compass or scale, etc, but I’ve never done any work in photoshop. It was definitely fun to play around with new software and try to figure everything out, and I’d love to keep playing with it and see what I can come up with after getting more experience with the software.

I hope everyone enjoys what I’ve done. It was a great way for me to envision what I actually would like to someday have in a garage. I’m certainly a visual person, so this was an awesome way to take bits and pieces of things, and put all together in order to see what I can come up with.
