So, our first blog post is supposed to be about setting up our websites… I’m hosting my website through a friend’s server, so I had to go about setting my database a little differently than shown in class. I just had to separately download WordPress, and then use phpmyadmin to create a database/user with a randomly generated password, that I signed into the WordPress configuration with. After that I was good to go! (Oh, besides having to re-copy WordPress over, and reset the database because I put everything in the wrong spot, and then spending an hour navigating through 55 theme pages to find one I liked.)
