Firefighter Safety

The reading on Firefighter safety emphasized the importance of sharing stories. By having firefighter’s post their close calls with danger into a national database they were helping each other better prepare for any situation that might come their way. It is a great way to implement safety regulations because it is coming straight from the brave men and women who put them selves in harms way. Because all of the posts are anonymous, the firefighters don’t need to concern themselves for being liable for any forms of negligence. I wonder if they could apply this sort of thing to other hazardous occupations such as the Army?
