The Myths and Legends of a Storyteller 2018-10-03 21:49:27

The goal for this assignment was to create a logo (4 stars).  I decided to create a logo for my character that would incorporate her power (rescuing animals). I wanted to keep the logo very simple, so I chose plain colors and a simple font. I then added the heart and the animals to indicate that her job is to heal and save animals. I really like the pictures and think that they add a lot to the logo but they do not overwhelm it. I liked doing this assignment because every superhero needs a logo and a way to be remembered. I can see her using this to advertise her power and getting people to be nicer to animals. I started by finding the website and the chose the fonts and colors. I then searched through all of the logo/picture options and then arranged them to fit. I then sign up and got the logo in my email.   Until next time, Emily

    “Once Upon a Time” Review

    by
I decided to watch the pilot episode of “Once Upon a Time” on Netflix. The show uses a lot of fairytales and myths, so I thought it would be a perfect example. I have watched several episodes before and decided to rewatch the first episode. The show uses a lot of pretty scenery and uses a lot of lighting to indicate when bad things are happening or when the evil characters are on the screen.   This episode used a ton of the topics we discussed. I picked the ones that I thought were the best examples. The use of lighting was one of the most prominent features used. The lighting indicated a characters moral (whether they were evil or not) and also the general mood of the town/people. I liked being able to apply what I learned into watching the show and finding examples and seeing how often lighting, background, and the other topics were used. Until next time, Emily
