In the pet-trade, Red Eared Sliders are the most commonly bred and sold turtles in the world. They are so common now that they are considered an invasive species. This does not, however, prevent them from being curious, adorable, sometimes surprisingly intelligent critters.

I’ve heard lots of horror stories during my research to find out how best to care for my new charges, and I’m embarking on an educational platform as a repository for the knowledge I’ve gained, resources I’ve found, and stories I can share.
