    Smooth and Scary Criminal

    by
Here is Smooth Criminal – Michael Jackson that has the audio stripped and replaced with scary sound effects. The video itself is kind of weird and spooky looking so I decided that a scary sound effects backgournd would match up pretty well.

    More inspiration of creativity

    by
http://www.tpeedhispants.com/assignments/my-dog-lucy-as-a-cartoon/ This author’s idea was inspiring because they used online resources and a photo they already had to create something new and creative. This will help give me more options when completing new assignments.

    Radio shows and more

    by
This week we hosted our radioshow and had the chance to listen to other radio show projects. Each group did a fantastic job creating their radio show since it involved so much work and collaborated effort. I found that doing audio assignments does not become easier even when completed as a group, and I still […]

    An inspiration of photoshop designs

    by
http://www.nixmemita.com/ds106/teach-me-how-to-ziggy/ The author was inspired by another assignment to create her own, and she did a fantastic job using the characteristics of Mcnulty in creating a “dummy guide” to his character. I will use her work as inspiration for future photoshop design assignments.

    A Change to my past

    by
If I could change one thing in my past, I would have started my college degree a lot sooner. At the time I graduated high school, I had no idea how much I would end up doing in my military career, and I wish I would have went straight into college right out of high […]

I reflect on the TDSN Radio show

    by
I enjoyed the radio show, it was entertaining to hear their take on the scenes and really enjoyed the commercials and music choices. I like how they integrated music that relates to the wire’s characters. The advertisement that followed the Sabotka memorial was a great interlude to the radio show. It reminds me of what […]

    A week of radio

    by
This week has been a work in progress with a wrap-up of the radio show my group has been working hard to complete. I finished the radio bumper I made for the show, and finished recording the last section to complete our radio program. I covered the warrants and laws behind wire tapping, which is […]

Week 7… a scary mix of audio assignments

    by
Week 7 is another week focused on audio assignments. These assignments are the most time consuming and hardest to complete so I found it to be a “scary” week of homework which fits perfectly with the Halloween month. I finished three audio works that involved a  lot of sound effects and mixing together sound recordings […]

    Home Break In…violence ensues

    by
This a a sequence of sound effects meant to mimic a home break in. First the perpetrator knocks on the door, then kicks it open. Gun shots are fired where a man screams. The perpetrator then reloads the pistol. This scene is something I thought would fit into the Wire because of the violence.

The Wire…a family struggle Drama documentary

    by
The Wire The wire is a drama documentary about a family of circus performers who specialize in high flying circus acts. The performance finale during one of their shows ends in disaster as one of the young performers is killed trying to complete the act. The entire family must walk across a 50 foot long […]

Color can be simple and beautiful

    by
Color can be simple and beautiful. I took pictures of solid colors that were natural and unobstructed. The solid pattern made the color stand out and makes the viewer focus on the object being photographed. https://www.flickr.com/photos/126499928@N07/s...

Great finish to the week and Season 2 of The Wire

    by
This week I was able to get back on track after being away without internet to complete my assignments. The design assignments were fun to complete, I had a great time coming up with ideas for the assignments, and I was able to find good assignments rather quickly compared to other weeks. I created two […]
