But I think I’m getting there.
I didn’t mean to, but I kind of avoided working on this site because it annoyed me. I accidentally forgot to create a subdomain before installing WordPress, so my website URL looked really wonky in my eyes with the “domainname.com/example.” I really really wanted it to be “subdomain.domain.com” and I tried to see if it would change it, but it got to the point where I would have to go into the htaccess code, I believe, which I tried. I just couldn’t find were it is. So, I was at a dead end and just wanted to start again. Unfortunately, I couldn’t fix it using the name I wanted to call my blog so I chose another name that still keeps with my Girls Aloud theme.
So here is my new blog, which looks almost identical to the old one, except I’ve added some nifty Plugins. If you look to the right, I have installed Twitter Tools and also the Plugin “I am reading,” which doesn’t look as cool as I expected or had hoped, but it will do for the time being. I’ve gotten Google Analytics up and running as well as Akismet and allowed the comments without having to sign up and give me all of your information. I’ve also tried to install a Plugin that lets me connect to Pandora, but I’m still in the process of learning how to use it.
