So my group, Clifton, Jared and I, have already finished our project, so while it’s fresh in my mind, I’ll talk about it.  We had a good time working on the project, and I know a lot of people are thinking, Bullshit.. but really, we laughed a lot throughout and it really didn’t take us too long to get what we wanted done.  Clifton did a damn good job of editing the audio (he works with audio on the side and he’s quit talented and has the whole setup and all with a legit mic and recording programs).  But all in all, we spent some time researching what we wanted to say, and threw our ideas out to each other over break, edited it some… and all, and we just went with it and really finished the project in probably 4 hours of recording audio with Clifton putting in time on the fixing it all up with the continuity of the program.  I feel like our program is quite well put together and to me, feels like a real show with segments from sports to weather and encounters… all mixing it in to future problems with aliens.  The project was tough, but I do like the idea of it, the time frame made it difficult though.

I listened to the the radio show about the Zombies, I can’t remember the name of it, but I liked the music that was played throughout, maybe it was a bit long (for the audio clips) but I thought it went very well with the rest of the theme.   The zombies commercials were hilarious especially the Old Spice remake.  It would have been awesome if they had it in the same voice as the original guy, but that would be super tough to do.

Also, I listened to the Awkwards Moments radio station.  Some of the stories like someone’s mom walking to work with her dress up was hilarious.  But some of the stories I did not think were particularly awkward, but then again, it didn’t happen to me.  I especially liked the remake of the 3 Little Pigs from the Wolves viewpoint.  I thought it was a brillant idea to take a classic children’s story and re-do it from a completely new viewpoint.
