Too Many Options

Okay, so my final project is not going so well. I think it is really difficult to come up with an idea because there are so many. I mean where do I start. I am also limited by materials and technology. Sure I could do an interview, but with what, my computer. Who wants to interview in front of a computer. How about video? Well once again I am limited with my laptop. Its kind of cumbersome to carry around and record anything. Pictures. Sure I have a camera, but no photo editing software. What fun is that. So yes I am kind of bitter and have no idea what to do. I have come up with many ideas and really don’t know how to wrap anything together because I am so limited with tools. Last, how is this supposed to be turned in? Do we just keep posting pieces and bam that’s it or do we link everything together and turn it in at one time.

With that said, here are some of my ideas. I like animals and taking pictures, so I thought maybe I could make a short video on making dog biscuits and incorporate what food is bad for dogs and what food is healthy, or must be included in their diet. Maybe I could even try and locate local bakery’s in the area that cater to dogs. Next, its spring and flowers are starting to bloom, and I thought maybe I could take pictures of flowers in the area, identify them and list fun facts about them. This might not be as simple though, because its cold again, and I am not sure if I would be able to find much of a variety unless I go to the botanical gardens or something. Another idea I had was doing a project focusing on fun places to go in the Fredericksburg or Northern Virginia area. This would be very time consuming though and I would probably need a good bit of money to visit these places. I guess this depends on whether I choose places in the immediate area or outside of town. I also thought about making a sort of comic strip story with my dog, but without photo editing tools this probably won’t happen. Last I would love to make a video, sort of like the lonely island videos on you tube, but this is highly unlikely too since I do not have the tools available to complete a project like this. With that said, stay tuned, I will probably post some different things until something falls into place.
