THE CHALLENGE IS ON!

My Army Reserve commander challenged me to run with him this fall on Nov 19 in the 49th Annual JFK 50 mile run. I feel totally under prepared, but that I have time. I’m not sure of what my goal pace/time should be, other than to finish the distance in the allotted 12 hours. If I want to be truly heroic, I’ll shoot for 8 hrs. and 30 mins. Training starts Monday. Long, slow, distance training. Time to plot a course!
