I’ve been a pretty big nerd for a while, and starting my first WordPress weblog in the seventh grade.  As far as I know there are no traces of that, or the second or third or fourth attempts at creating a web presence.  This blog is probably the fifteenth or so, and I have had more web hosts than I can remember (free hosts inevitably disappear).  That said, I am always learning new things.  First and formost, I am glad to have been told the best twitter integration plugin, as I had no luck the last time I attempted and simply used a widget.  Beyond that I was happy to hear that the class would be using a networks of blogs as its medium because I have always wanted to have people to bounce ideas of off and have a captive audience to try out new things on.

After having created several blogs that nothing ever came of, it is very nice to have a big real opportunity to try and really create an online presence and I am very excited for it.
