Overall this podcast was a nice change of pace compared to “This American Life”. This episode however didn’t really pull me in. I think it is mainly because of the topic. I liked the music and sound effects choices they made for the episode. I also thought that the two or three hosts worked really well together. They found areas every once in a while to throw in a joke that made me want to keep listening even though the topic wasn’t very interesting to me.

The first guy that was on the podcast seemed really off as an individual. I mean you like what you like but it seemed like he was trying to fight a “popularity war” for the parasites. The way he fought to make sure everyone heard that they were good just put me off a little bit.

There was only one time in the podcast that I really got annoyed and wanted to stop listening. It was right before the last section. The music selection for that was terrible. It was like the music was a broken record and it kept saying something like, “this is a test”. It seemed to last for at least 30 seconds. A broken record for a solid 30 seconds seems like an eternity. Besides that, I thought the podcast was really well done and structured.
