Star Wars on the March

For this Assignment: News on the March, I decided to take clips fromĀ cinematicsĀ they made for the game Star Wars: The Old Republic.

What I was going for was news updates similar to WWII about the return of the Siths trying to reclaim the Republic and causing an intergalactic war.

What I did was, I used Mozilla Firefox and downloaded theĀ Ā Video DownloadHelperĀ plugin.

Then I used this video from youtube

I split the parts in Sony Vegas and I used an old film effect to make the film look, well older. Ā I then used Microsoft Paint to make the captions and used the same film effect in Vegas to keep itĀ consistent. In the background I used the Star Wars score: Duel of the Fates by John Williams.

It was fun to make the video show how even galactic wars have news reels, as well as damn good camera men ha ha.
