Get to know me more Tuesdays….

I’m just in the blogging-for-no-purpose mood.  So, I will blog about myself some more so you readers can get to know me a little bit more than you already do :)  I saw a journal prompt today that said write a list of the top 10 outrageous jobs you would like to have.  Well, I took this my own way and took out the “outrageous” part and switched it to the top 10 jobs I would like to have.  So, here they are :

1. Obviously, I want to be a HS English teacher- I am not even going to explain myself there.

2. Next, I would like to be a teacher internationally.  Again, you probably already know this so no explanations needed.

3. Since I love to write (can you tell?), I would love to be a published author.  I already have a novel in the works ;)

4. Something really cool yet scary at the same time would be a forensic scientist/detective.  I would love to solve murder cases and put together clues, I love mysteries.  Although this would be gruesome (which is why realistically I would never do it), I think it would be so interesting and really give you an adrenaline rush daily.

5. I always wanted to work for a magazine and have a monthly column/article.  I always thought it would be fun to get up every morning, dress all professional, get on a train to the city, and just write all day (and be published).

6. I think I would like to be a psychologist.  I love psychology, it was once my minor here at Cortland.  I love getting into people’s minds and finding out why/how people are the way they are.  I also love to help people.

7. Going off on helping people, I would love to be a nurse.  If it weren’t for the fact that I would pass out from blood or seeing surgeries and the fact that I am not too good at science, I may have looked into this more seriously.  I would love to be a nurse for sick children, maybe oncology?  But I know emotionally I wouldn’t be able to handle it, I would be severely depressed within a week.

8. I always wanted to own my own cafe- I may do this on the side of being a teacher.  I already have it all picked out!  Blush pink walls, black and white photos of people like Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn, french rod-iron chairs in white, etc.  It would be a bakery/coffee shop.  Yum!

9. Ideally, I would love to be an artist/writer with my own studio where I can escape and just paint/draw or write all day as I please.  That would be the life.

10. I would love to do something where I get paid to travel!  Like a travel writer?  Something like that.  What’s better than traveling for money??
