After reviewing numerous DS106 students work, I narrowed down to six assignments that I thought were the best of DS106. All of these students incorporated substantial creativity, and really proved their design skills.

Emo Target Remix: By Saad

I chose Saads Emo Target Remix because he incorporated the emo remix effect perfectly, without taking anything away from the symbol. Most people did too many things in this remix, but Saad proved that sometimes simple can be better.

Animated Movie Poster-Chinatown: By Liz

Liz did a great job with her chinatown animated movie poster. She incorporated a movie effect of the smoke which added a great deal to the poster. Also, she incorporated the styles and colors perfectly.

Tung Shau Pass: By Tiffany

Tiffany did a great job with this assignment of creating a postcard. I love the design and detail that she put into it, and I think she chose to perfect font to go with the rest of the postcard.

Antisocial: By Rosanna

Rosanna did a great job providing the Facebook feel with this assignment. Also, she chose the perfect picture to incorporate the meaning.

Lightsaber Warning: By Saad

I chose to use another one of Saad’s design assignments because he made a perfect warning sign with a star wars feel. He didn’t make it too corny, but just right.
