For my final project I wanted to highlight some various businesses and look at their start up stories. What are some things that went well? Didn’t go so well? Interesting information about their start up days. Point out some the successes and strokes of genius. I just wanted to tell the story.

Business, specifically tech start ups, have always interested me. It’s a goal of mine to one day own my own computer business, and there’s is no better place to learn and seek inspiration then the success stories of others before you.

I specifically focussed on some Web 2.0 companies that I find particularly cool and inspirational. Plus I liked the idea of focussing on Web 2.0 companies, because as part of this class we have grown familiar with these services (or services similar to them), and it’s interesting to hear the backstory to the services we use everyday. I think it helps you appreciate the service that much more.
