Week 9!

Week 9 was kind of annoying, I always feel like I’m super busy during the week so I put all of the work off until the weekend. It’s always a terrible idea. Oh well…

Listening to the radio shows this week was probably the hardest part. We had to listen to our own show and another groups show. Our show was interesting, we had two of the same subjects in there because of poor planning and we did not collaborate outside of online together because of conflicting schedules. However our show ended up pulling nicely together. We used all of our bumpers to kind of mediate between all the different segments.
I listened to the Halloween theme park radio show. They did really well on collaboration between themselves and pulled together a great show. They could have talked a little longer and more in detail but it was still fantastic.

Week 9 also entailed us coding a website to make it something other than what it was. I chose to mess around with James Franco’s wikipedia page. I took a screen shot of it because if I would have actually saved the page my ip address would have been flagged and I don’t want to go to jail for messing up someone’s wikipedia page.

If you can’t read it really well you can find it on my flickr here.

We also had to do 5 stars worth of web coding assignments. With the hurricane on our tail I chose to make a facebook for Hurricane Sandy. Turned out pretty humorous. That was worth 3 stars.

Again, if you can’t read it, it can be found here.

My other two stars were focused on making a story on google maps. Here’s my story;

Once upon a time there was a pretty princess. She decided to walk from Narnia to Hogwarts. This was impossible seeing as how there was a giant atlantic ocean in between the two places. She hiked up her dress and swam from Narnia all the way over to Hogwarts. She then attended classes for 7 years and fought off the most important wizard of all time.

Daily Creates this week kind of lacked anything really interesting. I chose the most interesting to me.

Daily Create 1: Something that you’re proud of…

 cutest couple ever
Hottest couple award.

Daily Create 2: Picture of rocks

rocks
Rocks in Horseshoe Bay in Bermuda.

Daily Create 3: Sound you’re used to hearing that everyone else might not be used to.

This is my boyfriend saying “OM NOM NOM” He’s adorable.
