Recycling

Ok, ok. Don’t hurt me. I went to the recycling phonar. I saw some stuff I could use for this song that is one of my favorites. It’s off the weeds soundtrack and is entitled f—was I thinking. Yeah, a song with a title like that is destined to be good [and it comes precensored in the title. She actually says/sings it in the song] . It also makes me include this warning: If you are offended by foul language, have never heard a curse word starting with f , it’s ok, but please do NOT listen to this. My interpretation of the song is it’s where you really like someone, but you know them so well you feel really weird if you fall for them. So while you’re kicking yourself for your stupidity, you actually kind of like it. Hence the ‘F— was I thinking”, which is a place I have found myself a few times. So I kind of made this assignment suit my purposes.

A lot of my classmates were doing sound stories. I wanted these images to convey that love feeling. So I chose the falling up image to set the mood. Then I used the skillet, hot air balloons, shadows, skillet again, oh and a vase [I think; it gave off a sliding into love kind of vibe so I liked it a lot] and a creative commons image of people holding hands. I went into premiere and imported all my junk. I put the mp3 of the song on audio-track 1. Then I went and just expanded the images for as long as I thought they should last. Then I exported as a mp4. Woop Woop.

[Sidenote: I did not include this in my assignment stars because I kind of didn’t do it as close to the directions as possible. But the product I really like].
