Say it like peanut butter, REMIXED.

This is a Remix of Say it like peanut butter with a “Countrify it” remix card. Basically I had to create an animated GIF of one of my favorite movies but it had to include some type of “country” element. Also, I had to  use media that someone else already used…

As I was looking as the examples I noticed that someone had used Sweet Home Alabama for their GIF (Dont thouch that, its HOT!!) I thought that would be perfect!!!

I began watching scenes from Sweet Home Alabama, and remembered this one! It is the seen where Melanie comes back to Alabama after 7 years to get Jake to sign their divorce papers. Jake is angry at her for leaving and is still in love with her. He keeps refusing to sign by making up excuses.

In this first GIF they are fighting through the door he just slammed in her face (and his blinds are not cooperating with him). I believe his exact words were:

“The only reason I ain’t signing is cause you’ve turned into some hoity-toity Yankee bitch, and I’d like nothing better right now than to piss you off.

Then in the second GIF, Jake thinks she left. He grabs a beer like he is on a mission and starts chugging. But then he notices the door is open…Melanie used the hide-a-key she hid  7 years ago.

Then a lot of drama happens….

Basically she FINALLY got him to sign the divorce, but she sends the papers to the lawyer before she signed them too. They were still married and ended up together in the end. And live happily ever after.

This GIF shows the scene where Melanie and Jake FINALLY make it to their wedding reception…7 years later.

To create these GIFs I used Format Factory. I usually use MPEG Streamclip but it has not been cooperating with my computer at all. Format Factory makes things so much easier! I downloaded the video clips from youtube, using Keepvid.
