For this design assignment we were asked to make a bumper sticker! I though this would be a fund assignment because ever since I have moved to a more suburban area I have noticed myself being sujected to more and more of these. And I often find myself drifting off in my car thinking of what bumper sticker my car would have, should I ever feel the need to decorate my car. So this is what I came up with!

In my family being well dressed for everything is important. My father once said to me “Life is an event, dress for it”. So with these words ringing in my ears I decided to combine this with my mother’s favorite slogan while driving.

As far as design goes I think by combining the purple with the blue it was vibrant enough to be seen on a car but not too loud or offensive to your sight, because of the color theory ideas I was introduced to this week. I really tried to suspend reality in this assignment and pretend as if this were actually going on someone’s car.I think that the font choice I used also really helped to give this sticker a certain air to it, as obnoxious as that sounds. It was with these two components that I came up with the design of this bumper sticker and had a lot of fun doing so!
