Morning Routine? | Part 2

Dexter-deeper.

Dexter kinda falls into a few genre categories.  I can see it fitting well into (in order of importance)

Drama–”serious, plot-driven presentations, portraying realistic characters, settings, life situations, and stories involving intense character development and interaction” (via)

Suspense– “known to promote intense excitement, suspense, a high level of anticipation, ultra-heightened expectation, uncertainty, anxiety, and nerve-wracking tension” (via)

***Something I researched (and later found on IMDB too) because I have always been curious:  “The name of the main character, “Dexter,” is also a Latin word meaning “right hand.” The implied complement is the Latin for “left hand,” “sinister,” reflecting his hidden dark side. In 2010, author Jeff Lindsay confirmed at a book signing in Edinburgh that he chose the name Dexter because it was the opposite of “sinister”, reflecting the character’s surface normality.”

*** “While most of the shows are set in and around Miami, Florida, the series exteriors are mostly shot in Long Beach, California, with interiors shot at the Sunset-Gower Studios on Sunset Blvd. Second-unit crews shoot additional material in Miami to help add to the realism of the show.”  (I had no idea!)

&nbsp

*** “Of the six complete seasons aired (2012), Season 4 and 6 are the only ones to end with a cliffhanger.”

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO to the Mpeg Streamclip and it’s NON-SAVING crap.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO to Windows Movie Maker not being able to keep the audio where it belongs.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO to 56,325,421 minutes spent on this.
BOOOOOOOOO for the watermark I ended up with.
2 Scenes from Dexter snipped together using Wondershare.  The ONLY. way. I. could. figure. how to post this.

WARNING:  Adult language ahead, proceed with caution.

These are two of my favorite scenes from Dexter.  I was SHOCKED! I was able to find both of them.  I named this exercise “Dexter and Deb Overshare” because both of them tell each other something they DON’T want to hear ever.at.all.ever.

This project may have turned me OFF to Dexter for a while…

At least intil June 30 9p/8central…
