It’s the Future I Can See

Well it’s onto looking forward from here on out.

Looking at the video assignment bank I certainly did find some things that really interest me, and know what two assignments I want to do.

The first one is going to be challenging, but I think that I am up for the challenge. It’s creating an educational video, and I’m actually going to make it a video about math (why not??). I can see it now, the narrator saying something (audacity will help with making it a guy’s voice), and the filming will hopefully be in black and white. I will certainly need some help with the filming, but I figured I would have two people tackily talking about how to solve a problem, and the narrator will chime in with his input. I’m actually really excited about what is to come!!

Next will be the play-by-play assignment, which I actually thought of submitting to be a daily create idea one day. As an avid sports fan (especially with all this March Madness going on) and even work for the athletics department where filming basketball has the play by play announcer right next to me. One time he couldn’t make a game and I found myself trying to do his job, and let me tell you it is hard! The video I want to do is of Frankie, the cat that I was babysitting this weekend. She is the cutest thing in the whole entire world. So basically I will be filming Frankie so I can find a funny video of her so that I can do a play by play of what she does. I looked at some past play-by-play assignments and I was a bit interested to see how they interpreted it.  A lot of people were narrating what the subject was thinking, but I think it’s more fun to be an observer commenting on what is going on. Especially with a pet it is easy to resort to say what they are thinking, but I think being dramatic and treating a trained house pet as Steve Irwin would an alligator would be much more fun to do, and to watch!

Here’s to next week!

Thanks for reading,

Princess Karissa
