The Prequel

There is a lot of set up work involved with creating a good video.  Much has to be edited, added, and put together.  Before you can even think about doing that you need the pieces to make the whole.

Play by Play: I chose to use a clip from a Washington Capitals hockey game.  This is the radio recording of the Caps beating Boston in game seven to move on to the next round of the Playoffs.

Instead of knowing what is going on and being SUPER excited I am going to me monotone and not realize what is going on or the importance of the goal or maybe I’ll pretend that I do know what’s up and act hyped but totally not get it.  Some of the audio I may use are:

“Alight so they’re going toward the White goal, no wait now to the Black goal.  They are moving fast and running into each other.  Umm, something happened.  I guess the White ones got the ball into the net.  They seem pretty happy, because they are jumping on top of each other.  Either that or the guy in the middle did something really bad and they are attacking him. No wait this guy looks happy and the Black ones don’t.  I guess White won. whoooo… Oh, ok  let’s watch it again.  How exciting.”

Return to the Silent Era:  I chose to use this movie trailer for Jurassic Park.

To make it into the style of a Silent Movie I will make the whole trailer black and white and have a soley musical background.  Some of the text I will use to help get the story of the film across are: “Old Life is Reborn”, “How’d you do this?”, “It’s coming…”, and “LOOK OUT!”.
