    Bob Ross

From the beginning of the episode “Barn in Snow Oval,” I noticed that Ross’s voice and aura throughout his painting experience were very calming. While he was painting, Ross appeared to be stress-free, which indeed demonstrated how art could impact the world in such a positive way. What intrigued me about the painting was the

“Let’s just have a good time.” This quote to me symbolized how much Bob Ross really loves what he is doing. He enjoys painting and enjoys teaching others his skills and love for painting, which is very inspiring. “On this canvas you have unlimited power. You can do anything here. You can change your world.

    Relaxin’ with Ross

Hey everyone, what a week so far! For this week’s assignment, the video I watched was about a painting of an old barn. I enjoyed this episode and thought that the painting turned out well! I was curious to find out what price someone would sell an original Ross painting for today and found one for sale on eBay asking for $88,000! I believe that telling stories help lead to other ideas of future paintings and other mediums for art. As the viewer of Bob Ross, we can take his stories and help carry on his inspirational attitude and loving

“In your world, you decide.” He was focusing on the form, shape, and darkness of the cliff along the waterfall. And when he said that, it brought to light that just because he is putting “big cliffs, rocks, and little happy things,” doesn’t mean...

    The Joy of
 Life

    by
Back in the summer of 2017, I spent a lot of time inside and by myself as many of my friends went off on vacations or were constantly preoccupied. During this time, I was feeling extremely low and often struggled to feel better. Similar to today, I was often watching

    Bob Ross Reflection

    by
I watched Bob Ross paint one of his famed winter landscapes.  In this landscape, he painted snow, happy little trees, and a shed.  There were several things that stuck out in this episode as they do in many of his episodes.  For example, he uses a lot of pronouns like “we” and “us” to make it feel like [

We just have happy accidents.” I think this is a beautiful way of saying to cut yourself some slack and others too, that

Bob Ross – Storm’s A Comin (Season 26 Episode 11) Although I had heard of Bob Ross, I had never actually watched one of his videos until today. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I liked watching the tutorial. His voice was surprisingly very calming as he easily walked us through how to achieve [

The work itself is proof of the journey,

    THE JOY OF DS106

Creativity is such an elusive thing and the process of creating anything (be it a song, a painting, etc.) can sometimes be a mystery even to the creator. I find that the best inspiration smacks you in the face out of nowhere and half the time my favorite work was made by following an artistic [
