Update: Stephen & I ended up going on the trip, and it was as wonderful as I hoped. He enjoyed it immensely and we are both super grateful to all those who helped make it happen. Thank you, friends & family, for being amazing and creating a great 23rd birthday for a great guy.

Stephen is a great guy. He’s clever, caring, hard-working, sweet, and I could go on, but most importantly–he’s turning 23 this year! I want to give my wonderful guy a great birthday, and while brainstorming gifts with a friend, a neat idea rose to the top: Treating him to a two days and one night at a bed & breakfast.

I think that taking Stephen to a b&b would be a fantastic way to celebrate, but I need some help getting him there. That’s where this post comes in. A night at a bed and breakfast can be pricey, but if all his friends chip in a small amount, we would easily be able to afford it. At the bottom of this entry, I’ve put a donate button.

If you think that Stephen would enjoy a b&b trip then consider a donation your b’day gift to him. How much would your present usually cost? $10? $13.75? Twenty even? It doesn’t have to be much at once, and if it works out, your name will go on a card I’ll be giving him at the b&b in Rappahannok. If it doesn’t, I’ll put the money that’s raised toward something really cool, let him know who helped, and it will still be awesome. Either way, everyone wins.
