Going Green In Queens

The emergence of the green thumb revolution happening in Saint Albans, Queens. People from all walks of life are embracing Going Green by planting many of their own produce. I live in a culturally diverse neighborhood, irregardless no matter the background, place or country a particular person may have came from — they all enjoyed planting, watching growth, tending and most importantly reaping. To be able to plant something from seed then watch it grow to maturity, harvest and finally consume that produce to me gives a new meaning to the quality of life. Below you’ll find some photos of  Going Green revolutions in St. Albans, Queens — See if you can find the Pumpkin!
