In this short tutorial we cover some of the techniques you can use to stack or layer sounds, and control their volume with the envelope tool. An audio file that has overlapping sounds, background, foreground, effects, sounds much more natural
This allows you to do things like put subtle sound effects beneath a narration, or fade in and out music in the background as a voice narrates over.

I assume you don’t hear the playback because you have headphone in?

I’m not sure what you are asking. Are you saying you do not hear your sounds when you play back? When you record does it make wave forms? If the line is flat than it may not have recorded correctly. Please provide more info.

When I watch your video, I do not hear it when you play it back?
cogdog
Yes, I was not able to capture the playback in the recording.

This says warning on the links. Is there another link to figure out how to layer sounds?
Reverend
I just fixed it, you should be good to go now.

Very cool . . . I think I will like playing with this!

This has been updated with a newer version that has all the audio. It only took me 2 years to get around to doing this.
