Hello! When I go to select wordpress in the flickr settings, wordpress does not appear as one of the options. All’s I get is twitter and tumblr. I’m using wordpress.com so XML-RPC should already be active according to everything I’ve read… Halp!
Unfortunately the Flickr update to their site in late March 2014 removed this capability. There was a reference to not enough people using the feature, hence their focus on sharing via twitter, tumblr. Sorry I found it a useful feature.
Thanks for posting about this. I was looking all over trying to find out why I couldn’t post to my WordPress blog any more from Flickr – this explains it. Too bad they removed that feature!
Thanks for this post. Flickr can do what they want, but if they’re going to remove a feature I wish they’d REMOVE it all the way. I just spent 5 minutes I’ll never get back in a ‘goofy loop’ clicking links to the feature that are still there!
