I’ve just signed up for a Massive Open Online Course: Digital Storytelling (see: http://ds106.us)
My now-not-so-secret ambition is to extend flickrcc.net, adding an interface for building characters and scenarios and (eventually) collaboratively generated branching stories. DS106 looks like a great place to pick up a few hints on the how and why of story telling.
The course starts on January 10th, 2011, which could pose some problems. I’m planning to sail Arion down from Coffs Harbour to Hobart in January and will be out of mobile range a lot of the time – I’ll see what I can get done beforehand and catch up with the social networking when I can.
This will be a hoot.
