Minecraft with a Twist

Patrick and I are going to create a short (three-episode) YouTube story for our final project. The story will be captured in Minecraft, a procedural, open-world sandbox game. We are going to document the story of two characters lost in the minecraft world, beginning with their floundering first steps.

I am now experimenting with FRAPS for screen-capture. But the trial version only lets me record in 15-second clips. Does anybody know of any better free packages?

Dialog and sound effects will be added later, as well as title overlays and stuff like that. I don’t want to reveal too much about the story, but we are confident in the ideas we’ve got so far. We are hoping to release the first episode of Lost in Minecraft next weekend.
