Hey Everyone!
So this is the first post for my final project and I’m super excited to get started. As I said before, I’m doing all the Design and Visual assignments based on the Scavenger Hunt found in the Visual category and my first word for today was “Animal.” I decided to use the “Big Hip Hop” Assignment under Design which is about getting a picture from The Big Picture and putting song lyrics from one of the top 100 songs on it.
So I went on The Big Picture and tried to find a picture that included an animal since that was today’s topic. Luckily, I found a whole album on the Dog Sledding season so I picked this great picture of some dog sledding in Alaska. I then went on to iTunes and checked the top 100 songs to see if I could find any that would match the picture. I found a song called “Dog Days are Over” by Florence and the Machine. I’ve actually never heard of this song before but it turned out to be pretty good and I thought it applied pretty well to my picture.
