For the word ‘Joy’ from the scavenger hunt, I chose to do the assignment Pick A Bad Photo, Apply A Vintage Effect And Write Something In Helvetica. I thought this would be perfect because I went to Oregon last week with my mom and we went to Ben & Jerry’s to have some ice cream. I took a picture of her eating and it came out hilarious! I thought Joy would apply perfectly here because my mom looks extremely joyful and very into eating her ice cream. It’s a really bad picture and that’s what makes it funny. So I loaded it on to my iPhoto and changed the color to Vintage and then wrote something in Helvetica using Picnik.
