For my video essay I chose the movie Coach Carter. The concept of this movie is one that teenager can identify with, much like I did when I was 15 and this movie was out on theaters. The scenes chosen weren’t necessarily the ones that stood out the most, like the finale scene or the introductory scene, but the ones that I thought really meant something. Granted, with a maximum of 10 minutes to share I didn’t get to incorporate another two scenes that I would have loved to.

Sorry this post is belated. I used Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 to edit it and it kept creating huge files that were 2.05 GB and 2.02 GB big, which might have been great quality but it was impossible to upload anywhere. That explains why the quality of the video is so low because I eventually saved it as an mp4g file and hoped for the best. You will see specially towards the end that the audio doesn’t follow the video. I think it happened because I cut the video – but I honestly don’t get it. When I played the movie and watched it before even editing everything was fine. Next time, this is something I will change.
