Here is my mashup.

I came about doing this one because I was just searching around on youtube for movie trailers trying to think of two that I could mash together (video from one and audio from another). I started searching for things like Finding Nemo, Toy Story, The Punisher, and even thought about working with the Breakfast Club again. So, as you can see, my ideas were all over the place. But once I got on the whole disney movie thing, I was stuck. I was sure I wanted to do something with a disney movie. That is when I came across this video on youtube of a theatrical trailer for the Incredibles. When I heard the music, I thought about doing something along the lines of the unexpected hero type thing and using the audio from the incredibles to do that. Now I just had to choose what movie I wanted to use for the video of the mashup. I was going through movies in my mind trying to think of true underdogs that would never look like heroes, and then it came to me! I had to use DODGEBALL, after all, it is “a true underdog story.” And that’s how I came up with my idea. I knew that I wanted specific scenes from dodgeball, so instead of downloading youtube videos of dodgeball, I used VLC to record the clips I wanted, then I used EVOM to get the to mp4 format, then uploaded them into imovie. For the Incredibles video, I downloaded “Fastest Free Youtube Downloader” and downloaded the clip. Then I took it through EVOM and made it an mpeg file then brought it into imovie. After I did everything I wanted to do in imovie, I exported the video then uploaded it to vimeo and embedded it in my blog. Hope you enjoy!
