It has been two months since I posted my mashup of “The Town” and “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.”

During that time frame, I graduated from college. I began a job as a News and Information Specialist. And around two weeks ago, I was accepted into graduate school! In August, I am beginning a program at Georgetown University. I am very excited at the program and the opportunity it presents to further study the communications field as related to the specific industry where I want to pursue a career.

Since I’ve started this blog for ds106, it has always been my goal to blog more outside of just blogging for class assignments. Hopefully I’ll be able to do that more now that I am on a more “regular” schedule that is not dominated by classes, school work and meetings. People have been encouraging me to expand on Jay Stories and Aisle 2 Bin 36, so I’ll be working on those more this summer in some form and blogging about my process. Unfortunately, I just haven’t had the time to work on them until now.  I have been thinking about those projects a lot though and have a big list of ways I plan to build on them. Once August comes around, I also hope to blog on my experiences with grad school.

I’m also working more on my portfolio. I’m not sure exactly what I want to do yet or how I plan to do it, but am ready to change it and better present my content.
