Allegory of the Cave, or Madness from Confinement?

Having been busy with battling various nasties, I’ve had little time today to look at the video of Dr. Oblivion, apparently isolated in a cave.  Whether it is an undiscovered section of  the Zertinan Caverns, or another cave system yet unexplored, I cannot say.  He is completely cut off from the mist:  A side-effect of manufacted nethecite, I’m sure, though many natural phenomena are capable of deflecting mist…

As for myself, I’ve set up camp between the Ogir-Yensa and the Urutan-Yensa Sandseas.  The Urutan-Yensa are a violent, territorial race, but weak physically, and easily felled by my channeling staff.  I make haste for Rabanastre in the morning.  There is nothing more I can do until I hear new word of this matter.  Perhaps I can seek advice from Tomaj…he usually stays in his tavern:  The Sandsea (not to be confused with the crap-hole I’m in now).
