For today’s Daily Shoot, we had to take a monochromatic picture. I wasn’t sure if this meant to take a picture of something that was black and white or black and another color, or if we were to manipulate a photo to make it monochromatic. I decided to take a picture of a staircase at my work and then manipulate it. I was honestly just playing around with the colors and brightness when all of a sudden.. BAM!.. there was a lot of hard black and some shiny yellow. It reminded me of that song “Stairway to Heaven” so I kept it for my Daily Shoot. (Note: The stairway doesn’t ACTUALLY go to heaven, it really just goes to to a balcony and a restroom). Here is my monochromatic Daily Shoot for the day
