Well I was a little confused honestly.  Why was Stella Meme dressed as a ninja?  Also why are we still talking to Bianca Oblivion.  She talks incredibly slow.  I don’t have 40 minutes to wait for you to say one sentence.  Jim Groom is the professor now.  Forget the Oblivions.  I a much bigger fan of Jim Groom anyway.  I know at one point that something was said about majoring in ds106.  I’m not sure that there is enough course material to make an entire major about it.  While creating a digital presence is important and nice I’m not sure you can make a job out of creating a digital presence for yourself.  This would be in my opinion a poor use of college tuition to just focus on creating a digital presence for your self.  A much better use of time may be looking into designing your own websites and looking into a major in this field.  Students are very aware of the need to site sources.  While we don’t always do this it is very important.  It is important even in the educational context not to flirt with the line of copying others work.  My father is a computer forensics analyst and I have always been taught to be careful about copyright and information that should be hosted on the public domain.  The line is still very uncertain about what is and isn’t ok to remix.  Universities aren’t going to step up and challenge what is a new work of art because it is much easier to expel them or hit them with an honor council charge.  Create open source projects.  They will get your name out there and also allow others to see what type of work you do.  Possibly even get you a job.  Hollywood does not have any creativity.  Lego Dawn of the Dead.  YES VIDEO GAMES ARE CREATIVE.  Someone try to read all of the World of Warcraft lore.  You will never finish.  You will never know it all.  I don’t watch tv or movies really anymore.  Sorry that my post have been so small recently.  I have been caught up with Mercurial.  Mercurial repo hosting will be the death of me.  Thanks all who faithfully read.
