OKAY, so I finally read the hunger games trilogy after numerous suggestions from friends. I managed to read all 3 of them in 3 days, okay I admit it I became obsessed!

I’ll try to give a brief synopsis:

The story takes places in an unspecified time in the in a North America, which has been named “Panem”. Panem is controlled by the capitol, and every year the capitol randomly chooses one boy and one girl from its 12 districts to fight to the death in a televised event called the hunger games.

ONLY if you live under a rock that means you have NOT heard about the hunger games being adapted into a movie. Its trailer was released on GMA earlier this month.

THE TRAILER IS AWESOME, it gave me everything I needed it to give me, it showed me Peeta<3, Katniss is EXACTLY what i envisioned!

Apparently there has been some skepticism on whether Lenny Kravitz was the right choice for Cinna the stylist for main character Katniss. I must say I think it is a fabulous choice, he isnt what I pictured as I was reading the books, but I can’t see how it will be detrimental to the film! You go kravtiz!

Before I finish ranting about THG, I will say :

1. I should not have read the books so far away from the  date, because now I am ITCHING to see this movie! Only 115 days to go, yes I have looked at the countdown on the movie’s official website.

2. THG will be wildly successful capitalizing off all the Twilight fan withdrawal that will be running rampant on all teenage girls across America BUT it will also be successful because of the fact that it is drastically more entertaining than twilight! AND HERES WHY: 

Twilight is a romance with action sprinkled in there! THG is an action novel with a secondary romance story line.

ANYWAYS, I WILL CONTINUE DAY DREAMING ABOUT HOW AWESOME THE MOVIE WILL BE….
