When I consider the movement from web 1.0 to 2.0, I imagine a switch from more static content to more dynamic and user oriented content. Therefore I imagine web 2.0 as being a truly personalized environment, including but not limited to social media such as facebook, twitter, blogging, flickr, and youtube. This advancement to web 2.0 has allowed users to share every aspect of their life they desire within matter of seconds. And I personally have been able to share my creativity with ease. Therefore, when I imagine moving on to web 3.0, I can only imagine the web becoming more and more personalized, however this can also threaten users privacy. Are we willing to make the web fully personalized by giving up our privacy? That’s something to think about…
