Today.. SMASHING!

April 17, 2012.  I ran into this gem on the wall of Simpson Library.

I would love to know who drew this, because they did a great job. The Wild Thornberrys was one of my favorite television shows growing up, and I couldn’t help doing a double take when I saw this.  Although I felt funny grinning with my phone camera, standing in the middle of a walkway while people were shuffling around me trying to get to their destinations, but it was worth it, as we all know that chalk is a delicate medium.  This may not have been on Simpson’s brick walls by tomorrow.  The resemblance is striking; and who doesn’t like people who can talk to animals, and living in nature, and awesome parents, and monkeys.  Today was the day I was reunited with a man I forgot existed.
